An unidentified man was reportedly shot multiple times and killed in North Philadelphia tonight. A Fox-29 Philly report said the shooting happened on the 1400 block of Cambridge Street shortly after 8 p.m. on Wednesday night.
First responding police officers at the scene reported finding the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds across his upper body. Police rushed the victim to a nearby hospital where he died a short time after arriving. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
Police said a weapon was recovered at the scene, but no suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
