A 17-year old boy is dead after a double shooting in the Germantown section of the city last night. A CBS-3 Philadelphia report said the incident happened at Blakemore & Woodlawn Streets at around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday evening.
First arriving police officers at the scene said they found a 16-year old boy who had been shot in the face and arm. He was rushed to the hospital where he was last reported to be in stable condition.
A 17-year old boy was found about a block away from the original crime scene, where he’d collapsed after being shot once in the rib area. The teen was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.
28-spent shell casings were found at the scene. Police said they are reviewing surveillance video, but no arrests have been made at this time.
