43-year old, Hernandez Govan has been indicted on multiple charges related to the murder of rapper Young Dolph on November 17, 2021. Govan was the third person to be arrested and charged in connection with Dolph’s murder. A report from Fox-13 Memphis said Govan was charged with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, and commit first-degree murder.
Shelby County District Attorney, Steve Mulroy, said it was Govan that solicited the murder of Young Dolph. The murder was carried out by Justin Johnson A.K.A “Straight Dropp” and Cornelius Smith, as Dolph was visiting Makeda’s Homemade Butter Cookies in Memphis.
