A woman was killed and a man was critically wounded during a shooting in the East Falls section of the city over the weekend. A 6 ABC Action News report said the shooting happened near Berkeley Drive & McMichael Street shortly after midnight on Saturday morning.
Investigators were at the scene of the shooting when they received a call that two gunshot victims had arrived at Temple University Hospital via private vehicle. A 42-year old woman who died shortly after arriving at the hospital, and a 52-year old man who was last reported to be in critical condition. Their vehicle was reportedly riddled with bullet holes. A motive for the shooting is unknown at the moment.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
