The victim was reportedly stabbed in the head right eye, and torso. He was taken to the hospital for treatment and is expected to survive, according to prison officials.

Two inmates were stabbed in separate attacks this week at the Riverside Correctional Facility on State Road. The stabbings were reportedly less than a half hour apart. A 36-year old man was stabbed once in the right eye in one incident, and a 26-year old man was stabbed multiple times in the back and arms. Both inmates were taken to the hospital and last reported to be in stable condition.

Prison officials did not disclose whether or not they believe the stabbings were connected. No arrests have been made in any of the stabbing incidents.
