26-year old, Brittany Macon was killed, and 24-year old unidentified employee at a Subway shop in Atlanta was injured, when an argument over the amount of mayonnaise on a customer’s sub turned deadly. A report from UPI News said the incident happened late Sunday night at a Subway Shop in downtown Atlanta.

Co owner of the Subway location, Willie Glenn, said both young women were recent hires at the location near Mercedes-Benz Stadium, home of the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons.
A 36-year old man was reportedly arrested shortly after the shooting. Ms. Macon was reportedly shot in front of her 5-year old child.
“This was a tragic situation that did not have to happen. Too much mayo on a sandwich…..and an individual with a gun who decided that was the cause of action to resolve the conflict. This is someone who failed to resolve a conflict by just walking away or just having a conversation to re-order the sandwich”, said Deputy Police Chief, Charles Hampton, at a press briefing on Monday.
Police said a third employee at the store, who was armed, fired back at the suspect.
