On Sunday afternoon, police responded to reports from concerned neighbors of someone screaming. Officers responded to the scene at 32nd & West Thompson Streets, in the Brewerytown section of North Philly at around noon, according to a report from KYW NEWS RADIO.
Upon arrival, the officers were led to human remains that were on fire at this point. KYW said a “source” told them the incident was being investigated as a homicide. Police now believe the burning body, was that of a male teenager.
No suspects have been named, and no arrests have been made at this time, but police say an investigation is ongoing.
