I’ve heard of freezing your a** off, but this is ridiculous! Okay, I’ll admit, that was lame, but seriously…..a cross-country skier’s “private parts” caught frostbite…. OUCH!!
A report from CNN said Remi Lindholm, a competitor in the 50KM Mass Start Race, representing Finland, was the unlucky party who went toe-to-toe against the howling, freezing course. It took Lindholm 1 hour and 16 minutes to complete the course. More than enough time for Jack Frost to come nipping at his ………..nose?
This is not Lindholm’s first time suffering from a frozen penis injury. The same thing happened to him last year at a race in Ruka, Finland.
“You can guess which body part was a little bit frozen when I finished (the race). It was one of the worst competitions I’ve been in. It was just about battling through.”
Lindholm told the Finnish media after the race. Lindholm said he used a heat pack to try to thaw out his frozen parts. He also said the pain was “unbearable” once his body part thawed out. Lindholm finished the race in 28th place.
