Police say they have arrested a man in Delaware County in connection with the murder and decapitation of his former girlfriend. 6 ABC ACTION NEWS reported that the incident happened at the Willow Apartments, located on the 400 block of Springfield Avenue in the Clifton Heights neighborhood, on Friday morning.
According to the 6 ABC report, police were called to the location at around 4:15 a.m. A fight between the two had apparently escalated into something much worse. The arriving officers found the man right in the middle of decapitating his former girlfriend. He was taken into custody. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said an investigation is ongoing.
