Philadelphia Police say they have arrested and charged 22-year old, Omar Johnson, in connection with a shooting that sent 6 people to the hospital with gunshot wounds. According to FOX 29-PHILLY, the shooting took place on December 30th on the corner of Germantown Avenue & Collum Street shortly before midnight.

Police say they have released surveillance video of the December 30th shooting. You can see six suspects get out of a white van and then start spraying bullets into the crowd of people on the corner. Five males and one female were hit by gunfire. Police say members of the group on the corner returned fire. The suspects jumped back in their van and was last seen heading westbound on Germantown Avenue.

Police say Johnson suffered a graze wound to the foot during the exchange of gunfire. John son sought treatment at a hospital later that night. He was interviewed by police at the hospital and later arrested. So far, Johnson is the only suspect who has been arrested in connection with the shooting. Police say he’s facing multiple charges, including aggravated assault and weapons charges.
