On Thursday afternoon, California “Officials” announced the arrests of 14 individuals who were reportedly part of a group connected to multiple smash & grab robberies around the state. According to a report from The LOS ANGELES TIMES, none of the suspects are currently in custody. One of the suspects is a minor.

The Zero-Bail policy that was established last year, for certain crimes to reduce the jail population, likely worked in the advantage of the accused. All of the suspects made bail or were released without bail.
