MAN CHARGED WITH KILLING HIS MOTHER WHILE SHE WAS DRIVING

22-year old, George Michael Harry II, from Troy, Michigan, has been charged with killing his own mother on Monday morning. KTVU FOX-2 reported, Harry allegedly killed his as she was driving the two of them home from a Thanksgiving Eve family dinner. Harry was also charged with 12 felony charges related to the shooting.

The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said Harry fired a single shot at point-blank range to his mother’s head in their car, with a 9mm pistol. Police say Harry fled the car after it crashed. A she fled, he shot at oncoming traffic. He hit three cars, including one that carried a pregnant woman driving by.

Harry was allegedly a passenger in the back seat of the Ford Edge they traveled in when he shot and killed his mother, 52-year old, Sonya Harry, causing them to crash. Investigators say a motive for the shooting was not immediately known.
