On Wednesday, Chicago police announced they found 80 kilograms of cocaine in a vehicle and River North, and another 20 kilos of cocaine in a Gold Coast hotel, according to a report from CBS-2 CHICAGO

Prosecutors allege that the cocaine was transported to the Chicago area on the same day. They say the goods were transported by private jet from Toluca, Mexico, through Houston. The plane landed at Gary/Chicago International Airport. The drugs were then driven to downtown Chicago in suitcases.

Federal authorities seized the private jet (a Bombardier Challenger-600) on Monday. 30-year old, Sebastian Vazquez-Gamez, from Toluca de Lerdo, Mexico, 25-year old, Rodrigo Alexis Jiminez-Perez, from Columbus, Indiana, and 39-year old Sergio Ivan Blas, from Indianapolis, were all charged with conspiracy to distribute cocaine, among a host of other charges.
