Rapper Fetty Wap was one of multiple defendants arrested and charged with operating a drug trafficking and distribution ring that moved more than 100 kilograms of cocaine, heroin, and fentanyl across Long Island and New Jersey from June 2019 – June 2020, according to a report from NJ .COM

Fetty Wap, whose real name is William Junior Maxwell II, was one of 8 individuals accused of being major players in the distribution network.
23-year old, New Jersey Correctional Officer, Anthony Cyntje, was another notable arrest made by authorities. All have been charged in the Eastern District Of New York, for conspiring to distribute and possess controlled substances. The reports says, Wap was allegedly a “kilogram-level redistributor” for the organization as drugs were obtained from the West Coast and brought back to the New Jersey region, according to the indictment.
