TRENTON, NEW JERSEY

28-year old Tyrell Harris-Mclaughlin, of Jersey City, has been charged with sexual assault and official misconduct. Mclaughlin, a “senior correctional officer”, at Mahan Correctional Facility For Women, was arrested on Thursday, for allegedly sexually assaulting an inmate last month, according to a report from NEW JERSEY 101.5

Prosecutors say Harris-Mclaughlin sexually assaulted the inmate on September 16th. A court affidavit said the victim collected the semen from her body. State Police matched the DNA to Harris-Mclaughlin from the sample of a swab taken from his cheek. Prosecutors may be in search of more victims.
