The police report states that Isis Williams frantically called her mother, who was on the other side of the country, on December 24th of 2018. Williams was screaming and crying. She told her mother that Lynch was in front of her door on Woodstock Street near Chelten Avenue. He brandished a weapon as he made threats from outside of the house. Lynch was yelling that he “was going to kill her.”

As the couple’s 5-day old baby lay in the crib, Lynch broke into the house. Prosecutors say Williams locked herself in the bathroom as Lynch broke through the front door. Williams’ mother testified that she recognized the yelling voice as Lynch’s.

Lynch admitted to killing the mother of his child. He admitted to shooting her in the head at close range. He also admitted to shooting her in the neck, torso, and hand, within feet of their newborn baby. Lynch pleaded guilty to third degree murder, endangering the welfare of a child, and a gun charge. He is scheduled to be sentenced in December.

Williams’ mother was on the phone listening during the entire break-in and eventual murder of her daughter.
