Authorities say 57-year old, Michigan man, Gregory Jarvis, was found dead on a private beach….with a winning lottery ticket in his wallet.

A report by ABC 12 MICHIGAN said Jarvis had won $45,000 playing Michigan’s “Club Keno” game in a bar, before his body washed up on a beach in Huron County, Michigan. Friends say Jarvis had not yet cashed in the winning ticket because of an issue with his Social Security Card. Friends say he seemed to be in good spirits the last time they saw him.
Friends got worried when Jarvis didn’t show up for work. Two days later, the body of Gregory Jarvis was found by a passer-by along the beach on Saginaw Bay. Because of the lottery ticket found in Mr. Jarvis’ wallet, investigators looked into the possibility of foul play being involved in Jarvis’ death, but quickly ruled that out.
“We are thinking that he was tying up his boat, slipped and fell, hit his head, and that’s where he ended up in the water. No foul-play suspected.”
Said Caseville Michigan Police Chief, Kyle Romzek.
