Seven people were injured in a shooting in Athens, Georgia around 1am on Sunday morning. The original reporting from CBS 46 Atlanta, said five were injured in the shooting. After police investigated the shooting, the number of injured people rose to seven.

Police say a large fight broke out in the area of East Clayton Streets & North Jackson Streets in Athens. During the dispute, a black male began firing into the crowd of people fighting. Authorities say at least five people in the crowd were hit with gunfire.

All five of the victims were taken to the hospital, and last reported in stable condition. Investigators have identified the suspect as 21-year old, Pharoah Devonell Williams.
