CLARKSVILLE, INDIANA
36-year old, Brian Montez Williams, of Clarksville, is accused of killing a 67-year old woman, dismembering her body, and setting fire to her apartment, according to local authorities.

KIRO 7 Seattle reported, Williams has been charged with murder, arson, and theft. According to court records, he is being held without bail in the Clark County Jail.
The body of the 67-year old woman, who has been identified as Melody Gambetty, of Clarksville, was found by crews responding to a fire at her apartment complex. When fire crews arrived at the apartment, they found Gambetty on the floor. When firefighters tried to move her body, they discovered that she’d been decapitated. Other body parts were missing. Officers found a head, fingers, and toes, believed to belong to Gambetty, in a suitcase at Williams’ home.

Clarksville police believe there was no connection between Gambetty and Williams. They said the crime appears to be a botched robbery. Williams pre-trial appearance is set for September 1.
