PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA
Philadelphia Police say 17-year old Raqib Robbins was waiting for the “G” bus with a friend, on the 1200 block of 58th Street in Southwest Philly. Shortly before 7pm, a man wearing a masked and armed with a gun, started firing.

CBS Philly (https://philadelphia.cbslocal.com/) reported that Raqib was shot once in the head. He was rushed to Penn-Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. No one has been arrested as of yet, and no motive has been determined at this time.
The city of Philadelphia has seen more than 1,000 shooting victims so far this year. Raqib’s senseless murder adds to a homicide total for this year, which is already in excess of 260….and summer isn’t even in full swing yet.
