GLENN COUNTY, GEORGIA

A federal grand jury has charged three men with hate crimes, along with attempted kidnapping. These charges stem from the February 2020 murder of Ahmaud Arbery .

According to an ABC News (@ABCNews) report, Travis McMichael, 35; Gregory McMichael, 65 (Travis’s father), and William “Roddie” Bryan, 51, have each been charged with one count interference of rights and kidnapping. The two McMichaels’ were also charged with using, carrying, and brandishing a firearm in relation to a crime of violence. All three men pleaded not guilty to the charges and have been ordered to stand trial later this year.
