In the latest shake-up at the White House, Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham is headed for the door. The former White House Press Secretary will be replaced by Trump Campaign Spokeswoman, Kayleigh McEnany.

In the time in her former position Grisham made multiple appearances on Fox News channel, but she never briefed the media at the White House podium as her predecessor, Sarah Huckabee Sanders had done on at least a weekly basis. Grisham won’t be leaving the White House though. She’ll be headed over to the East Wing to serve as First Lady Melania Trump’s Chief Of Staff and Spokeswoman, according to Politico (@politico).
The latest White House shake-ups seem to coincide with the hiring of new Chief Of Staff, Mark Meadows. White House officials are rumored to be upset with the job of the communications team, especially during Coronavirus daily briefings. It’s been rumored that Trump’s son-in-law and Senior Advisor, Jared Kushner, has personally complained in recent months that the communications team, under Grisham’s leadership, were not being aggressive. Kushner reportedly stated that they only reacted, instead of taking a proactive approach.

Grisham had been absent from the White House for several weeks recently as she had been forced to self quarantine out of an “abundance of caution” after being exposed to members of Brazil President Jair Bolsonaro’s team who tested positive for Coronavirus.
