I have no idea how I ran across this show, but I’m glad I did. I saw it in the “new shows” section on Netflix, but I never paid any attention to it. One day while bored and looking for something to watch I clicked on it. I was drawn in almost immediately! The show places 8 or 10 people in the same house. Their only interaction with one another is thru a type of social media platform called “The Circle.” The goal of the game is pretty simple. Try to get people to like you and form alliances with other people in the hope that you won’t get voted off the show at the end of each day. Here’s the tricky part. You can use a real picture of yourself in your profile or you can play the game as a catfish! This makes the game a hell of a lot more tricky. Being as though all of the players are aware that there’s catfish players in the circle everybody is suspicious of one another.
