43-year old Alayiah Hill and her 5-month old baby were both reportedly shot in West Philadelphia yesterday.

A report from 6-ABC Action News said the shooting happened inside of a home on the 1500 block of Robinson Street at around 4:00 a.m. on Sunday morning.

Hill was reportedly shot seven times. She was rushed to Penn Presbyterian Hospital where she underwent surgery. The infant was shot once in the leg and rushed to Children’s Hospital Of Philadelphia. Both victims are expected to survive.

Police said Hill was shot by the child’s father, who has been identified as 39-year old Faheem Weaver. No arrests have been made at this time.
