A 42-year old man was reportedly shot & critically wounded in South Philadelphia early this morning.

A report from Fox-29 Philadelphia said the shooting happened on the 1300 block of Johnson Street shortly after midnight on Wednesday morning.

Police said the victim was found sitting in the driver’s seat of a GMC Yukon and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the chest. He was rushed to Albert Einstein Hospital where he was last reported to be in critical condition. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.

No suspects were named and no arrests have been made at this time.
