An unidentified man was reportedly shot and wounded near Penn University’s Campus in the University City section of the city last night.
A report from 6-ABC Action News said the shooting happened at 40th & Walnut Streets at around 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday night.
Police said the victim was shot in the arm outside of the side door to the Cinemark Movie Theater. He was transported to a nearby hospital where he was last reported to be in stable condition. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
No suspects were named and no arrests have been made at this time.
