At least 4 people were reportedly killed and another 20 were reported injured during a shooting inside of a bar in St. Helena Island, South Carolina, early this morning.
A report from 6-ABC Action News said the shooting happened at Willie’s Bar & Grill located at 7 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive at around 1:00 a.m. on Sunday morning.
First arriving police officers at the scene reported finding a large crowd at the location. Several people were reported injured. Four people were pronounced dead at the scene. 20 victims were taken to nearby hospitals. Four of the 20 were admitted in critical condition. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
Police said they were currently investigating a person of interest. No arrests have been made at this time.
