Two men were reportedly shot execution-style and killed near Pennypack Park in the Holmesburg section of the city early this morning.
A report from 6-ABC Action News said the shooting happened at Enfeld & Solly Avenues at around 4:00 a.m. on Saturday morning.
A witness told police that her boyfriend and an unidentified man met up with the two suspects. She says she then heard two gunshots and went to see what happened. She said the GUNMEN then pointed guns at her and demanded a bag. The suspects ended up fleeing the scene when the woman could not produce a bag. They fled in a teal Honda Pilot, according to police. The woman found her boyfriend and the unidentified male both suffering from gunshot wounds to the head. Their hands had been zip-tied by the suspects. Police said they are not sure if this was a drug deal gone wrong or a robbery gone wrong.
No arrests have been made at this time.
