A pedestrian was reportedly struck by a vehicle and killed on the Schuykill Expressway in South Philadelphia early this morning.
A report from 6-ABC Action News said the incident happened in the Westbound lanes of I-76 near Passyunk Avenue at around 5:30 a.m. on Monday morning.
Action News said traffic was temporarily blocked at Vare Avenue during the police investigation. All traffic lanes were reopened by 8:00 a.m.
