35-year old, Marcus Armstrong, was reportedly stabbed by a Samurai sword after attempting a home invasion of a home in Norristown, P.A., yesterday.

A report from 6-ABC Action News said the incident began outside of a home on Blackberry Alley at around 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
Police said Armstrong attempted to rob a man outside of as home on the block at gunpoint. A female that was with the man ran into the residence while her male friend was being robbed. Armstrong is said to have forced himself inside of the residence, where he came face to face with the female…who was now armed with a Samurai Sword.
“The roommate defended himself. He had the samurai sword and took a swipe at the suspect”, said Detective Josh Samuels with Norristown P.D.
Armstrong fled the scene. He was located by police not far from the scene and bleeding heavily. Police said the trail of blood helped to lead them directly to Armstrong.
