An SUV reportedly suffered severe damage after it was hit by a flying tire on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Montgomery County, P.A. this afternoon.

A report from 6-ABC Action News said the accident happened in the Northbound lanes of the turnpike near Whitpain Township in Montgomery County at around 1:30 p.m.
Officials say the flying tire came off of a pickup truck that sat in the middle lanes of the Southbound lanes of the turnpike after the accident. The SUV sat parked on the side of the road with its windshield and roof partially caved in after the accident.
Two people were airlifted from the scene to a nearby hospital. Where both victims were last reported to be in serious condition.
