A 28-year old man was reportedly shot and killed in the Cobbs Creek section of the city last night.
A report from 6-ABC Action News said the shooting happened on the 5800 block of Alter Street at around 11:00 p.m. on Saturday night.
First arriving police reported finding the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the back of the head. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
Inspectors said at least 7-shots were fired at the scene. No suspects were named and no arrests have been made at this time.
