An off-duty Philadelphia Police officer was reportedly stabbed in South Philadelphia this afternoon.

A report from 6-ABC Action News said the stabbing happened on the 1700 block of South 32nd Street at around 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon.
Police said the officer was stabbed in the back of the neck. He was rushed to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he was last reported to be in stable condition. A suspect was reportedly taken into custody.
No further information has been released at this time.
