An off-duty New York City Police Officer was reportedly among 3 people shot and killed inside of a building in Midtown, Manhattan this evening.
A report from WABC-7 New York said the shooting happened at 345 Park Ave at around 6:30 p.m. on Monday evening. The building was reportedly placed on lockdown. There was no word on if the lockdown had been lifted at this time.
The 345 Park Avenue building contains officers for businesses including the NFL Headquarters and Blackstone.
A lone gunman reportedly entered the building and open fire. The suspect was reportedly killed at the scene by police. The off-duty police officer was working security for a company inside of the building. At least two other people were reportedly killed during the shooting.
