54-year old, Dominic Polidori, was reportedly taken into custody without incident yesterday, after allegedly pouring gasoline on a woman and threatening to set her and her home on fire, according to the Franklin Township Police Department.

A report from 6-ABC Action News said the incident happened at a residence on the 200 block of Northwest Boulevard in Newfield Borough on Friday afternoon.
First arriving police officers at the scene reported witnessing the suspect run into the home as they arrived. The victim ran to police and told them Polidori had doused her with gasoline and threatened to set her on fire with a cigarette lighter. Authorities surrounded the home and attempted to talk the suspect into coming out and surrendering, to no avail. The SWAT team was called shortly afterward and the suspect was taken into custody without further incident.
Polidori was charged with attempted murder, and terroristic threats. He is currently being held at the Salem County Correctional Facility.
