43-year old Ebony Gee has been charged in connection with the death of a 4-month old baby found dead inside of a trash bag in Camden, N.J., back in May.

A report from 6-ABC Action News said police and EMS were called to a residence located on the 1200 block of Lakeshore drive for a report of an unconscious infant on May 9th.
First responders at the scene reported finding the infant in a bassinet wrapped inside of a trash bag. The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office said Gee had been caring for a friend’s baby since the middle of April. Gee reportedly spent most of her time in a second-floor bedroom with the infant. Gee wouldn’t allow her friend to see the infant and the friend said she never saw the infant in the home. The friend eventually ventured up to the second floor bedroom where she found the body of the deceased infant. She immediately notified the authorities. Gee sent threatening text messages to the friend on the day the infant was discovered by police and EMS.
Gee has been charged with second-degree desecration of human remains and second degree witness tampering. The Medical Examiner’s Office was not able to determine the cause of death of the infant.
