A security guard has been arrested and charged in connection with a mass shooting at a bar in South Philly last weekend that injured 7-people. 43-year old, Michael Welton, reportedly turned himself in to police yesterday.

A report from 6-ABC Action News said the shooting happened at the 7 Elements Club located at 11th Street & Washington Avenue in the early hours of the morning, last Saturday.
Police said the incident began as an argument between two club patrons. Welton was working security at the club that night. The argument quickly turned physical and knives were pulled out and used at that point. In an attempt to intervene, Welton reportedly fired multiple shots into a crowd of people, injuring 7 in the process. All victims were taken to nearby hospitals where all were last reported to be in stable condition.
Welton is facing attempted murder and a host of other related charges. Police said they are close to making two more arrests related to the mass shooting.
