DonateDonate monthlyDonate yearly55-year old, Eric Hannah, and his 17-year old son are facing charges relating to the homicide of 54-year old, Louis ‘Gus’ Serbeck, from Millville, N.J., who was beaten to death with a baseball bat and hammer.
A report from 6-ABC Action News said the father and son were arrested on Easter Sunday.
Serbeck reportedly went to his daughter’s home after she reported an assault on Saturday. Serbeck had went to speak to the 17-year old suspect about the alleged assault on his daughter. The talk turned physical at some point. Serbeck was struck in the head several times with a metal baseball bat and a metal flashlight. His daughter was also hit in the head during the assault.
Eric Hannah is currently being held at the Cumberland County Jail pending a detention hearing scheduled for Friday. His 17-year old son is being detained at a juvenile facility while authorities decide if he will be charged as a minor or adult.
