A report from The Associated Press said the lawsuit was filed Sunday in Clark County, Nevada, by the lawyer for the plaintiff, under Jane Doe. Sharpe is also accused of using physical force and inflicting emotional distress in the $50 million lawsuit.

The plaintiff reportedly met Sharpe at a gym in Los Angeles in 2023. The plaintiff said she was 20-years old at the time. 56-year old, Sharpe, is accused of raping the plaintiff in October 2024 and again in January of 2025.

Sharpe’s attorney called the suit “a blatant and cynical attempt to shake down” Sharpe for millions of dollars. Sharpe’s lawyer also said the relationship between the two was consensual. Sharpe was also accused of threatening to killed the plaintiff and recording their sexual encounters without her permission.
