A report from Law & Crime said the assault happened near 48th Street and Broadway Road on Monday April 14th at around 1:00 a.m.
Court documents obtained by Law & Crime states: “The attack was completely unprovoked, and he didn’t threaten Daniel, challenge him, and did not have any form of weapons to be perceived as a threat.” The victim was in fear for his life during the entire attack, police added.
Lanks is alleged to have pummeled the victim with punches after pulling his eyeball out, causing the victim to also suffer a fractured jaw. Lanks is currently being held on $500,000 bail.
