A report from Fox-29 Philly said police officers were flagged down by a pedestrian near 18th & Fitzwater Streets at around 9:30 p.m. on Monday night.
The pedestrian told police there may have been a shooting nearby. Police found the unresponsive victim lying in the street next to a vehicle. He had been shot in the head. Police rushed the victim to a nearby hospital where he was last reported to be in critical condition. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
No suspects were named and no arrests have been made at this time.
