DonateDonate monthlyDonate yearlyAn unidentified man armed with a hammer reportedly broke into a Bar/Restaurant in Center City and fled with $25,000 that he removed from a safe he broke into….with the help of the hammer he brought along with him.

A report from 6-ABC Action News said the break-in took place at the Tradesman’s Barbecue Restaurant located in the 1300 block of Chestnut Street at around 7:40 a.m. on March 13th. Police did not release the pictures of the break-in until yesterday.
Police said the suspect was tracked by surveillance to the area of 11th & Dauphin Streets in North Philly. The suspect remains on the loose as of 4/2/2025.
