Strong winds are said to be the cause of a tree falling over on a car and killing a woman sitting inside in the Northeast Philadelphia section of the city yesterday.

A report from 6-ABC Action News said the incident happened on the 500 block of Hill Creek Drive at around 6:15 p.m. on Sunday evening.

First responders reported the unidentified victim dead at the scene. Neighbors said another tree fell and knocked down some power wires in the same neighborhood a few hours before this incident. No other injuries were reported.
