A report from Fox-29 Philly said the shooting happened inside of a home on the 400 block of Cross Street at around 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday night.

First arriving police officers at the scene reported finding the victim inside of the home on a couch with a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 53-year old owner of the home said the victim was a frequent visitor to his house. The homeowner said several armed men forced their way into the home before shooting the victim. The homeowner was pistol-whipped during the incident.

A possible motive for the shooting was not reported. No suspects were named and no arrests have been made at this time.
