A report from Fox-29 Philly said the shooting happened on the 1500 block of North Carlisle Street at around 11:00 p.m. on Thursday night.

First arriving police officers at the scene reported finding the victim lying between two cars suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. Police rushed the victim to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.

A 23-year old suspect and a companion of the victim stayed at the scene and were reportedly cooperating with police. Authorities believe the shooting was the result of an argument between the two that escalated. No arrests have been made at this time. An investigation is ongoing.
