22-year old, Temple University student, Aidan Steigelmann has been arrested after being accused of impersonating an Immigration & Customs Enforcement (I.C.E.) Officer on Temple University’s campus over the weekend.

A report from 6-ABC Action News said Temple University Police responded to a call from a security guard at Temple’s Johnson & Hardwick Residence Hall, located on the 2000 block of North Broad Street at around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday night.

The security guard told police there were two male suspects in the building identifying themselves as police officers and I.C.E. Agents. Police said a third man with them was filming the incident. The trio left the building before police arrived. The three reported left the scene in a Jaguar. 15- minutes later, police responded to a call at Insomnia Cookies located on the 1300 block of Cecil B. Moore Avenue.

Two men reportedly left the scene in a light colored SUV. Police caught up to Steigelmann on the 1700 block of North 12th Street at around 10:00 p.m. He was driving the Jaguar SUV. Police arrested Steigelmann and confiscated his Jag. Temple University said they have placed Steigelmann on interim suspension. An investigation is ongoing.
