A report from 6-ABC Action News said the Learjet 55 crashed near the Roosevelt Mall at around 6:10 p.m. on Friday evening.

The Learjet is said to have departed from Northeast Philadelphia Airport shortly before the crash. The plane was reportedly en route to Springfield-Branson National Airport in Missouri. Shriner’s Hospital said the child onboard the jet had just received care at the hospital and was on her way back home to Mexico with her mother. Four crew members were also on the plane when it went down.

Early reports indicate that no one onboard the plane survived the crash. An unknown number of people were injured on the ground. City officials are expected to hold a press conference on Saturday morning, where they will be releasing more information on the crash.
