Two men were reportedly attacked by a group of dogs in Fairmount Park yesterday.

A report from Fox-29 Philly said the incident happened on the 2200 block of Chamounix Drive at around 6:30 a.m. on Friday morning.
Police said a 60-year old man on his way to work discovered a man collapsed on the side of the road. He pulled over to render aid to the injured man. He was then attacked by a pack of dogs. The same pack of dogs that mauled the man he pulled over to help. Both men ended up hospitalized.
The driver who pulled over was identified as a 60-year old man. He was taken to Lankenau Hospital where he was admitted in stable condition. That victim was treated and released from the hospital later on in the day. The second victim was identified as a 61-year old man. He was rushed to Penn Presbyterian Hospital where he was last reported to be in critical condition. Police said that two of the dogs have been captured by Animal Control Officers. Three more dogs from the pack are reportedly still on the lam as of Saturday morning.
