DonateDonate monthlyDonate yearlyA woman, who has been identified as 32-year old, Domique Truitt, was killed after the SUV she was driving crashed into a row home in the Logan section of the city yesterday.
A report from 6-ABC Action News said the crash happened near the 6200 block of Broad Street just before midnight on Thursday.
Police said Truitt was driving Southbound on Broad Street when she made a hard left turn and accelerated, causing the 2008 Nissan she was driving to crash into the raised porch of a home along the 6200 block of Broad Street.
A 32-year old man and a 3-year old child were in the car along with Pruitt at the time of the crash. All three were rushed to a nearby hospital where Pruitt was pronounced dead shortly after arriving. The man and child were last reported to be in stable condition.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
