A report from 6-ABC Action News said the shooting happened at Pete’s Pizza located along the 2000 block of Ridge Avenue shortly after midnight on Thursday morning.
Police say the shooting possibly started with a minor car accident before escalating to the shooting inside of the pizza shop.
“The pizza takeout recorded some pretty clear images of our shooter and pretty clear images of the shooting”, said Philadelphia Chief Inspector, Scott Small.
Police said the victim and suspect were involved in a minor fender bender. The victim who was driving a Honda, pulled over in front of the pizza shop. The men began arguing and continued to do so as the victim entered the pizza shop. The suspect reportedly shot the victim in the head before fleeing the scene in a dark-colored SUV.
The suspect was described as black with shoulder length dreadlocks that police say appeared to be grey in color. No arrests have been made at this time.
